The business began in April 1997 as a home-based consultancy. Registered as a Closed Corporation (97 15300 23) with 2 members : Richard Beneke (Civil Engineer, Pr Eng) and Robyn Beneke (Administrative). Richard Beneke has had 22 years of experience working for construction companies. Much of that time has been spent designing and being involved in the building of temporary structures, supportwork, formwork, site facilities and construction plant and equipment. He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from UCT, is a registered Pr Eng (790120) and is a member of SAICE. The business is equipped with computers and software (Lotus office suite, Autocad for CAD and Prokon for analysis) to handle modest-sized projects.
